The short version: this app collects nothing, transmits nothing, and has no servers to send anything to. Everything stays on your phone.
Nothing. RoadDeck has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no network backend. The app works entirely offline.
The app saves your preferences (theme, colors, voice settings, chosen question pack), optional player names you type for turn-taking, and your session ratings (the 😄 🙂 😐 taps). All of this is stored only on your device, is never transmitted anywhere by the app, and is deleted when you delete the app.
The end screen has an optional “Email the session log” button. It opens your email app with a draft containing your session dates, settings, and ratings — nothing else. Nothing is sent unless you press send. The “Share the app” button opens the standard iOS share sheet with a link to the App Store; it shares nothing about you.
Questions are read aloud using the speech synthesizer built into your iPhone. The app never records audio and has no access to your microphone.
If optional expansion packs are offered in the future, purchases will be processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see or store payment information.
The app is designed for families. Because it collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Given the app’s design, we don’t expect it to.
